The Principal
Martin has pastored two Baptist churches over 25 years and his interest in ministry and missions has taken him all over the world. As a writer, he has contributed articles to theological journals, devotional publications and speciality publications.
Martin broadcasts regularly on Radio Pulpit and has appeared on television. He served as the BU President (2001-2002) and has been a College Council member for 8 years, including being the Chairman during 2003. He was appointed Principal in January 2004

Mr Glenn Talbot

The Registrar
Glenn has pastored a church and been the Regional Director of Scripture Union ministry in Kwa-Zulu Natal; in business he lectured management leadership and ran Training departments for de Beers and Dorbyl Ltd. He then ran a dairy in Rustenburg. Whilst there, he was involved with planting and building churches. During his time lecturing leadership and being involved with Organizational Development, he completed a MDP from UNISA Business School and went on to do a Masters dissertation for the IMC UK.
Glenn graduated from the Baptist Theological College in 1976.

Dr. Gregory Pereira

Lecturer in Pastoral & Biblical Studies - Dean of Studies
Gregory (Piff) Pereira has served as Senior Pastor of New Life Baptist Church, Bosmont, for ten years and serves on the boards of both international and local Christian missionary groups. In 1996 he obtained his BTh (Arts) degree from the University of Zululand. In that same year he received his Licentiate in Theology (LTh) from the Baptist Theological College in Johannesburg.
While pastoring, Piff completed his MA degree at RAU with distinction. He went on to complete his doctoral degree in New Testament Theology in 2002, at the same university.

Dr. Sam Ndoga

Lecturer in Youth Studies - Dean of Students
Sam Ndoga began his Theological studies at the Evangelical Bible College where he graduated with a Diploma in Theology in 1991. He pursued further studies with the University of Zululand for the BTh (Arts) in 1995 and obtained a L Th (Hons) in 1996 from the Baptist Theological College of Southern Africa. He completed his Masters of Arts (cum laude) at Rand Afrikaans University in 1998 while serving as the CEO of the Johannesburg YMCA. From 2001 to 2007 he pastored Emerald Hill Community Church and was a member of faculty at Harare Theological and African Leadership and Management Academy (ALMA). In 2005 he was appointed Director at ALMA.
He has completed his D Lit et Phil with Unisa. Sam joined BTC in January 2008.

Kurt Holiday

Lecturer in Mission Studies
Kurt graduated from Baylor University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He earned a Masters of Arts in Christian Education in 1988 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Kurt was a youth minister for over 12 years before moving to Johannesburg. He has served as a missionary in Johannesburg with the International Mission Board since 2000. He is an elder at Ridgecrest Family Church. |
